eSkate Lights thread

Dunno if this was posted before but one guy from LaSag’ne Group said that this light works beautifully. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F192847652275 No need for any cables, it has an accelerometer and the light get stronger when you brake. I’m getting one for science

Idk how much I’d trust a “made in China” accelerometer to control my break lights, but I guess it’s better than a regular light. Thanks for sharing!

IMG_20190409_124234 IMG_20190409_124206 I bought these lights rated at 12v and 15w, but god damn they are pretty dim, I wanted to integrated them as you can see. Anything of the same size-style available that you know of? It’s either diy those lamps, or making another enclosure with more space.

Ive seen people remove the truck and make a knot around the T shape with elastic lights.

I’ve got a question for you people. My brother wanted me to make him an electric skateboard from the Vanguard deck, and he wants it flexy. Would this be a problem when mounting LED light strips on the bottom of the deck? I’m not sure if the bottom of the deck stretches or not, so I don’t know if the light strips would follow the deck or just snap, and I also don’t know how to mount light strips in a way that this flexing wouldn’t tear up the adhesive. (I suppose a stapler might work lol) Has anyone done this before?

Do you have a link for this front light? and does the quick release stays locked with all the vibration?

White led for the front are next. Brakelights get brighter as you brake then flash the last 10%

I’m in Australia so this link is an Australian link. Sorry!

Regarding the clip, it’s made for bicycles. I only installed it last night so it’s definitely not battle tested at present. If I remember to, I’ll try to update you regarding these concerns!

I like it. For surfrodz specifically?

intended to be mounted on top of the deck. but yes, it’s modeled after the surf rodz base plate design, so if you happen to be rocking a drop through mount on surf rodz, it’ll match up. if not, at least it will look super sexy
