The fucking stop acting like you are one… jeez… @b264 just wanted to indicate that something is wrong on your display but instead of correcting or acknowledging it, you decided to be cocky nonetheless.
And as I tried to point out earlier you can just go ahead and say it’s just for personal use and because of that it’s correct. Science doesn’t work that way. Why do you think do we have SI units??
Wow you guys get really intense about your units. Anyone wanna port VESC to Ada or at least C++ so we can use safe unit types?
Yeah @Mich21050 and this was my reply, if you fucking didn’t see it
When after I acknowledged it, @b264 kept acting like “you have to fucking change it to mAh, no matter what”. Your only advantage in this discussion is fact, that my English is not as fluent as yours.
On the same topic guys. I don’t use MAH or mAH. I use penises because of… uh… science. Just let the man do what he wants with his display. No need to get hardcore about it. He even stated it’s just his personal preference for his display.
You inspire compagny !!!
wow! that was crazy fast. So they are actively following what’s going on here.
@janpom I think I said something along the lines about this kinda thing happening early on in this thread. I knew the affordable price, usability, and ease of use would be something that others would want. You killed it.
But there are no links to that? What company?
^^ just under my post it’s Flipsky
It surely looks like it’s one of the ones on thingiverse
They where even inspired by my case design. HAHA.
@janpom I had some time to characterise the graphical error I have with brakes on the amp screens.
- It only happens on the amp screens when using the brakes.
- Never during acceleration or speed screen or text screen.
- It will happen at any brake level, ie slow as a turtle and soft brakes or hard with speed.
- The number of amps it shows always goes directly to 25amps. No other number will show. My vesc brake setting is only -17 for battery and -45 for motor.
You might be right that its a memory issue but why would it only be on the brakes on those screens? Seems weird.
I will try with less than 4 screens when I get a chance might be a few days, my remote got stolen.
- One other thing I think would be nice for the amp screens is that when pushing the brakes you get a different color on the amps, or at least a - symbol.
Same here. I’ve been testing myself and see everything you mentioned. I’ve got it down to 2 screens and get the same results.
That’s a pretty fair price at $35 all assembled. Now if only they copy one of the diy remotes with telemetry…
Would I be able to splice the wires together from these two In the pictures and still get accurate readings from both I already have the Bluetooth module.
I wish that were how it worked! From my understanding that will not work reliably. I have been asking/hoping for someone to develop a UART multiplexer but so far nothing…
Please others correct me if I am wrong or if there is another way( other than multiple VESCs)
