Sounds good pm’d u

For the vex pulley setup, I found that i had used 10mm counterbore hole for the head of the M6 bolt, but that’s the exact diameter for the head too. 3D printing might have reduced that dia even further so that when the bolt head is in there it would basically crack the plastic. I have adjusted for that and also added some extra plastic on either side of the holes.

For the 3D printed pulleys and adapter, I increased the hole dias a bit like 6.2mm instead of 6mm for the bolts to go through better.

All files have been updated in thingiverse.

Does anyone have any other suggestions?

:open_mouth:

Does it weigh as much as the wheel?

When I came home I can tell you about weight. I don’t have wheels yet so I can’t tell if is heavier.

Wheels are 560g each iirc. A solid aluminum 60T pulley might be close.

Pulley weight 417g. So final weight I guess will be around 300g.

That’s heavy…

Yes it is…but 100% reliable.

How much was the cost?

15€ at local store.

@DerelictRobot, I guess the other topic was deleted and we were discussing the efficiency of these tires here are some metr plots I am averaging about 18wh/km. I don’t know if this is enough for you or you feel it should be around 10wh/km

I bought these tires/tubes to replace the airless rubber tires that came with my diyeboard setup. This will be my first pneumatic adventure!

@mishrasubhransu has been giving me some tips, and I’ve already filed down (and taped for safety) the valve hole, so there shouldn’t be any sharp edges.

I’ll probably still have to wait another month or so for all the snow to clear, but that gives me time to get everything all ready to go.

first parts of my upgrade are arriving,… camphoto_1804928587 camphoto_1932422408 currently printing the pulley’s

and waiting for trucks and belts to arrive… My flat deck gets really high of the ground, I guess i’ll need another deck as well. any suggestions for a nice affordable drop-down deck in europe?

I ordered my stuff from this guy on eBay https://www.ebay.nl/usr/dickyho2015 one motor was cosmeticly damaged but the seller gave me a good price for a set of trucks. Great service!
