I bought one of them as well - just don’t like the height too much. 6cm is quite a lot especially when you can go much flatter with a VESC. 4cm seems like a nice compromise but so far only an old Tupperware box my mom gave me had that height. A 2-3cm enclosure would be awesome for 18650 and a VESC.

Well fuck me running. IKEA doing esk8 boxes… with seperate ESC compartments! I might do that on this crazy deck i got from ebay a while back.

Just cut it and flare the edges out 
And only 1000% more to ship since my nearest IKEA is like 50 miles away. Good news it that it costs $10 to ship 1 of them or 10 of them, so for $20, you could have enclosures for life, and it still works out to $2 a pop.
