US Group Buy - CLOSED!

Yep no worries then! Will be ordering a few

@JLabs, I just received the package today; everything looks very nice. Do you, by any chance, have the CAN bus cable to connect 2 vescs? I need that and may order another motor mount.

Unfortunately I do not. You can get one from @torqueboards I know he’s got some.

I put my mounts on. it took a decent amount of filing, but they look solid as a rock. I bought my calibers from ebay, so they are probably clones.

@JLabs, not a problem. I have a dump question. What are the pieces to lock motor pulley to the motor?

@Surfer mentioned that it would be nice to have a pulley cover for the motor mounts. The wholes are there for them already, just never made them for myself.

So what do you guys prefer, I can put up several styles too.

There’s plenty of clearance inside for the pulley and mounting hardware of the motor. The pulley cover bolts on with 2 M4 X8mm or 6mm socket head cap screws.

So what I’d like to know is which one(s) do you prefer or they all about the same or you dont really care its just the cover. There’s 2mm of clearance between the wheel and the cover. The plan is to make a 84mm version for 80mm kegels, then 87mm version for the 83mm flywheels, 94mm version for 90mm flywheels and a 101mm version for 97mm flywheels. Just want to see if you all want more boxy or curved looking covers. Once selected I’ll upload the covers and the motor mount, as well as a version of the mounts I made for chaka’s 5064 motors and DIY’s 50xx Series as well. These current mounts fit all 63XX motors.

All of these are 3mm shell thickness

4.5mm fillet

8mm fillet

12.5mm fillet

16mm fillet

Internal Clearance (only 16mm fillet shown as it’s the most ‘tight’ of a fit.)

The inside of the cover.

Man I’m still waiting on my package it was supposed to be delivered on Feb 7 but the tracking hasn’t even been updated since it departed its last city on the 6th. Hopefully I don’t lose my stuff i really needed it to finish my first build.

Anyone get their Maytech VESCs working? Both of mine do the DRV 8032 error or whatever whenever I use regen braking. The same settings work just fine on DIY’s VESCS. I’m thinking these guys are DOA.

Pretty sure they lost my stuff…also in case anyone wonders, when it actually says online that it has left the postoffice and is out for delivery from your local post office, that is a computer automated system thinking that it will be delivered that same day, sometimes not the case. I was told this by the customer service rep from USPS this morning.

They told me the same thing and if it isnt delivered within 5 days then it is also considered lost.

Could this be it?? :astonished:

Did you get it?

Man, don’t worry. My first group buy package was lost, had to wait 3 more months to jump on the new one. I wanted to finish my build in November, I still haven’t received what I need. But I’m gonna finish it, there’s no comeback once you start

Don’t worry next month I’ll get you something.

Lol ive been at this first build since my last birthday in March almost a year now. I think im gona just buy a made board maybe evolve or a raptor 2. Still gona think about it tho. Thanks for the motivation tho
