The reason I’m asking is we want to point our motors out the back as well as up so they are protected. This is my deck

TB 218 trucks. I can point the motors up and out the back without getting bite because of the deck, I just haven’t found mounts long enough

@marcmt88 makes good mounts, i’m sure he can hook you up. Try and get the center to center distance so you can source belts at the same time he making the mount.

yep, are those the ones your using? If so, you good to go. If not, then by getting the center to center distance you can use that and the pulley measurements to get the belt size you need. Then you don’t have to wait as long to get moving.

Is this what you have in mind, motor protection? I can also extend the arm longer if you are concerned of bite with the deck.

I might need the one I got from you longer. not sure until my motors come in. I like that redesign to protect the motor. What I would like to see is the edge on the right of the picture to extend a bit more so I can add a guard on it, this will allow me to stand the board up without scuffing the mount or motors!

For a rear mount, motor arm can be extended as long as you want w/o concerning for the enclosure.

Yeah I’m rear mounting. Not sure about the physics of the pivot so need a the motors to determine since I wanted it angled up

These are the mounts you are looking for? These are @marcmt88 made mounts. He custom made them for me. As far as I know these are the longest he ever made. Almost 22 cm long! Designed to hang behind and up the deck. Just the same thing you are requesting, no?

These are designed to fit Evolve truck plate.

Yeap. No hidden motors for this baby. Best thing, thickness… will never suffer from metal fatigue (thats for the naysayers concerns about slots & openings)
