Now that’s a tempting idea!! bringing Esk8 to the food delivery market!

Quoting the wrong thread. I know you’re being funny. I was referring to all the esc drama sprawling across the forum today.

Just get some crap motors and run them with way to high amps… you now have cook top

@Idea These looks nice!

Did you make them?

Exactly. one motor is wound to have a very low kv (something like 120 ish) and the other is wound to about 200Kv. with gears matched for each motor, it lets both have the same max speed. but their torque profiles at those speeds are vastly different. Im hoping it would mean amazing performance. I just haven’t tested it yet ;/

Sounds interesting. Never have seen something like this. Some days ago we just where discussing that topic if it’s possible or not. Hope it works out well! I would worry that they spin unsyncrone and one motor get pulled buy the other or blocked by the other. Hold us up to date how it performs

There is an old thread on this topic somewhere on here actually… Edit ; My motors are different models, so kv differs a bit although both are officially 190kv. One is geared 15/40, other is 16/38. Top speed differs by 0,5 km/h. Can’t notice any weirdness, but never tried dual (diagonal) with exact same motors, so I don’t know what I’m missing.

I found only the one with different size motors but same kv… as you said there no motors exactly the same, but 120 and 200 is a not usual fluctuations :sweat_smile:

no there was actually a thread with someone or maybe a couple that were running different kv motors and they were discussing how the lower kv one took more of the start up torque and then the other one helped bringing the speed up or something… should be here somewhere

@lowGuido and @onepunchboard both ran boards with different kv motors

@ethel Thanks :slight_smile: Yes I did this gear drive and I’m still testing it and modifying it …
