I must ask, how do you clean this after a ride like that :joy:

Oh… my wallet. I am so tempted.

@landonkun I bet those have 8mm axles that will bend in a week. I don’t know, I’m just saying. Someone should test them for science though.

You can bid too, it’s even lower

That link only has shipping to the US available. I’m in Canada :frowning:

@b264

I just noticed the ebay link for the $319 one is from a seller with 0 feedback, and some of their prices seem very strange. In one listing, their ESC is more than double the price of the same ESC in another one of their listings. Color me skeptical…

That $319 link is directly from an email from Kenna Mao, the elofty seller, to me. He and I have corresponded a few times. @landonkun, I can forward you the email if you pm me your email. image

@Mikenopolis, what are you going to do about the sensor wires?

@goldenHusky That switch will fail if brine touches it. I’ve had a few of them die. They stay permanently “on”

edit: the black mechanical switch, not the electronic one

@mmaner To ride that board, you should get a proper body armor. And a helmet!

@b264 Thanks for the hint, so I guess it’s better to stay with the classic 16mm led switches?

Not sure about the other ones, I use mostly loop keys. But that specific one right there is very susceptible to brine ingress.

I prefer momentary led switches. Have had latching switches turn off while riding on bad terrain.
