I don’t have much information on this creative motorized board. I asked for more information. I received “it belonged to the brother whom passed away”.
Thought I share this old prototype as a reminder how far these boards have come.
@Ovi That rear light looks super sexy! Is it just a a small RGB ring light from ebay or something? How well is the visibility at night with that thing? I need to know!!!
It’s a bike light that I took appart. Works alright, Note that the pink glow is a different LED with a color gel.
Is that a melting heatshrink?
Yeeep, it got really hot and got on “fire”.
nahhhh that’s a feature
But isnt it only activated when i go 88mph?
Drift master
Haha rather master of disaster, this was a crash
Was riding too fast and totally lost traction on this wet mud (like ice), hit the wall and fell backwards at the same time. Knocked on concrete with my ellbow without pads, thanks to mud only small graze but lesson learned.
as long as the board still clean, all is good …
No, good to know that you managed without bigger injuries!
Hey Idea,
So you ride all summer with your geared !? Tell us more plzzz
Yes!!! We need more direct…oh no sorry gear drives!!!
@Riako Yes, and it still tests and modifies the gear drive
The drive is constantly evolving The changes are seemingly small, but I strive for the ideal
I want to build a hermetic gear drive with minimal power loss
In September, I am starting to build a drive for pneumatic wheels, and in October I’m building a board with a range of 160km (100 miles) with mounted a gear drive.
That´s going to be a beast…interested where you will store all the batteries. What you guess will be the final weight of the full board?
@Andy87 Now my board has a 10S4P battery pack, weighs 10.1kG and has a range of over 70km
Will build a new 10S10P battery pack, according to my calculations the weight of the board should be about 13kg my Trampa Urban Carver with the 10S4P package has a similar weight
how you get such a long range out of your pack? you use 21700 cells, or that´s because of the gear drive? For me it sounds crazy good and very light too! I usually get max 30km out off my 11s4p hg2 pack.
and one more question: your gear drive for pneumatics, for which hanger you plan to create it?
Now I have a 10S4P package built using 18650 Samsung 30Q batteries Samsung 30Q have the same capacity as LG HG2
Now builds gear drives for Evolve truck, maybe next year will build a drive for other trucks, Now I have other priorities
I hope that with the 10S10P package I will be able to drive a distance of 100km on pneumatic wheels , and a distance of 160km on urethane wheels
