The pin in the middle will be either 2.1mm or 2.5mm. All esk8 stuff I’ve seen uses 2.1mm

WARNING: don’t stick metal in the charge port until you snip the wires!!

Not all sparks are from shorts. I have a boost converter charger and when plugging that in it makes a big spark. However, if I power the charger on first and set it to the right voltage then plug it in there is no sparks at all, I think it is due to the capacitors on the charger. This sometimes happens with the small 10s charger I have too

Saved my life. I was pretty close til I looked at the messages lol. But I can’t tell whether the inside is 2.1 or 2.5mm. It’s really close to both and of course I didn’t touch it with the metal calipers

I have never seen esk8 parts with 2.5mm pins. So you have about the same chance of being correct by buying the 5.5x2.1, as you would have of finding a scratchers ticket that isn’t a jackpot winner

TL;DR: buy 2.1
