Oh I see. I didn’t realize they were that big.
They never do.
Those look rad
I want the Stooge wheels in shiny aluminum.
They could be pink and dipped in glitter for all i care. I don’t want them for the looks lol. (Although they do look rad)
Remember that his wheels are different. They don’t come with the core’s center hole to sit the axle bearings or core openings in which you introduce pulley sprockets. Instead, his wheels are like racing car wheels with a rubberized layer on top of another high density foam layer covering a plastic rim (I think), they are similar to auto tire rims; so in order to use his rubber wheels over 8mm axles (plus the pulleys), they require these @MoeStooge custom made aluminum hubs.
Yes! from the molds of Bishop Racing. These guys are the rubber wheel making geniuses I worked with figuring out what foam density, rubber compound, offset and width works best for Esk8 Track racing. Great people to work with and they make a great wheel for 5th scale racing as well. BRP is where I have my race and street wheels made.
Thought they looked familiar. Was mooching round bishops site for my losi 5t and gas savage.
I am very lucky to have fantastic roads here but seriously feeling the need for a set of these Moe. Thinking 125 will probably put my board into the “you’re going to die” speed category though.
@dareno Gear ratio change. Hub will take a massive 60t pulley as well. Just got the 44" fitted with twin 6000kw motors and threw some Color on the Street wheels.
Did you just spray them? Looks awesome!
“Krylon Special”.
Holy crap. That thing looks fast just sitting there. Thats a treenutter deck isn’t it?
Yup, 44. Built for Moe’s needs if I recall correctly (thank you!). Have one at my house too, so I guess he is indeed taking orders (unless I’m special )
It was a @psychotiller @mccloed @treenutter and stooge sit-down session early “18” in Vegas. Really we all had input and Red-Ember took the wants and wishes and brought it to life.
I keep debating what I want to put these wheels on! Decisions are hard!
Saweet! Got my wheels in!
I haven’t messed with them yet. Did you use. Bearing press to put them in?
I need to change to 10mm bearings
They have 10mm in them I wouldn’t do that to ya.
Whaaaaaatttt?!!??!?!
Shows you how well I looked!!
Nice!
I was going to wait and put them on an upcoming build, but my ass can’t wait.
Putting them on the Lacroix tomorrow!
God, I hope my axles are long enough and I have enough spacers!
