Looks amazing! How long for all the sanding?

Wow this is so cool! Can you add some resin after sanding and it will bound with the existing resin completely and still is transparent? Or is there a chance that there will be two layers of resin? Sorry for the stupid questionā€¦

It took me a solid three days of sanding and one broken palm sander.

Thatā€™s exactly what happened, even sanding with 60 grit it just soaked it up and became crystal clear. Unfortunately I didnā€™t take any pics of me reapplying the resin on the surface.

Dude, that looks very nice! How is the flex on the board?

Itā€™s very flexible even with adding CF. I weigh only 125lbs , but I had my friend who weighs 230lbs ride it. I only used 6 plys of wood. Iā€™ll post a flex test later. Iā€™ll also hold some weight for the bigger people.

Here is the flex test, Using 180lbs to 200lbs. The squeaking is from the truck bushings, I loosened them to turn more. Iā€™ll be getting softer ones in the future.

Wow this is a great build thread! Have you considered making a few decks to sell?

Honestly if people were willing to buy I probably would but I would end up changing is the length, itā€™s only 33".

Oh that is pretty short, still though, Iā€™d be interested in a deck, preferable a bit longer though. Is this the first time youā€™ve made a deck?

Indeed it is. I could figure out the cost It would take to make one if you want, It could come in a variety of different colors too. I could also make it less flexy. I took out a few plys of wood for this deck.

I would prefer if I were to make them if there was a little more interest. I could make a thread asking if anyone would like to buy any. Otherwise Its kind of a hassle to make just one.

The best I could do is $275.00 per unit. It would still be color customizable but if you wanted something thicker than 7 ply we would have to talk. Again this is assuming others want to buy. If you wanted normal Carbon Fiber It would cost less. But man that stupid shipping gotta ruin everything.

Is $275 shipped?

Itā€™s a possibility, But I haven contacted any shipping companys yet.

So with school and all not much has happened but I want to put my shoping list somewhere so here it is. Batteries: https://www.smc-racing.net/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=280 2s%20lipo Remote:

Hopefully Iā€™ll get it done this summer. Oh, and heres my diagram. Wiring%20V4 But the loop key would be on the black wire. Thanks, @b264

One more thing where would I find a small reliable voltage meter?

Where do you get the metalic carbon fiber? Or is there a way to make it colored?
