N.E.S.E / NESE - No solder module battery packs

Do you have dimensions for the 2s3p packs? I think I’m gonna try to fit a 12s3p into Hummies board.

Nice! What are the dimensions? How do you fix it to your board?

From how i see it, the way you connected those series tabs will not give you a 12S4P configuration. It will either give you a 2S12P battery, a 8S6P battery or a fire. You need to remove some of those series Tabs as you are connecting in series and parallel simultaneously.

Yes I know, I just wanted to see what it would look like put together. Right now it’s 6 2s4p module, I’m going to keep one for the bottom, then the top five will be 4p+4p, so believe me, I’ve got it covered

Didn’t cut tabs yet, just put together so far. Today I’ll cut the series tabs in half though.

Yeah I see too be missing a cap lol. Oh well…

Go to website please. Resource page will give you all information needed.

Why are you cutting the tabs? Why not connect the 2S4P packs in series until you reach 12S.

Cause he would need long bus bars and all will be messy. If you would stick them on the sides, sure, and still, depending on where you want your power output to be, on one side, or opposite ends.

Have not posted these photos i have. It was failed print but it shows how everything works inside:

is there any way i can have the cad files of P N.E.S.E?

Sorry, but those are not available.

I have received my test sample of PCM i was thinking integrating with NESE earlier. What i like about them is that they are 2 wire units. Also, they are waterproof(i would say splashproof). Not expensive units also. I am talking with the manufacturer to get dimensions for different one, ones could fit NESE enclosures. Perhaps i will have a complete NESE BMS module, plug&play.

Any one fancies another no solder 18650 from India? Why for F… sake battery needs a hammer or log for assembly? Its like the thing now. Whack it with a hammer or something heahvy.

I need to make biased video why Whoosend and the likes are not such a good idea, at least not the market they aim for. Another thing they say, its easy to swap a cell? How the f…ck it can be easy? If you have 36v 4s, thats like 80 nuts to undo. Unlucky if the cell is in the middle.

yeah i wanted to buy vruzend, but decided against it, just too big and unreliable. It is realy just for stationary use at best.

I bought their kit. tried to make it high capacity then just shelved it, I found it too…well crap :poop:

Maybe a powerwall or scooter but it’s just not good enough for esk8. There is a version 2 I believe but my hands say no to this forever

I thought ‘battery blocs’ were a good idea, but they didn’t offer the size and shape I wanted. These are the best solution by far IMO.

I also bought some Vruzend and tried but damn that felt like :poop:. The metal ”spring” which is s bent metal piece didn’t make good contact and assembly was HARDER then spot welding imo.

Trird the NESE and it feels more rigid, super easy to make and good electrical connection.
