Could its failure be caused by spikes on its voltage rail? On first glance I dont see any clamping diodes on the drv’s positive terminal. Will have a look at the github files when I have wifi again.
@onloop send a extra drv chip with every vesc as a repair kit😜. It is a diy hobby after all.
Edit: There is indeed a clamping diode.
