He let me get into the kickstarter group a few days late since my v2s snapped at the axle. I actually got my v3 speed drives 5 months later, but the sensor wire never worked on one motor. I ran them for 3 months then sent them back for repair because he said I would get them back before the riding season starts… That was 5 months ago.
So 10 months of waiting for 3 months of riding. I had hope in Jerry but this is just getting to be too much.
I convinced my buddy to buy an Evo on the kickstarter and he got it 6 months later. 2 months later a motor blew at top speed on the Evo. Jerry had the nerve to block him on instagram and cut off all contact when he asked for a free upgrade to v4s. Jerry is treating customers like shit and having them do all the research and development for him. A lose-lose situation really
I think what everyone is trying to get through to you is that Jerry does deliver on the product but at the end of the day there are two people working on what would be hundreds of orders on top of living a life outside of Carvon. When emergencies happen and the main man can’t work; you can’t expect the delay to be small.
Yes there is an issue with communication. But do you think that you are the only one to have emailed him? How big do you think his inbox would be now? Would you rather him be there competing orders and getting product out or sitting in front of his PC responding to lawsuits?
All you are potentially doing is delaying your own order even further by wasting more of Jerry’s time and also ruining it for everyone else that has ordered from him too. As stated in this and other threads, there are people with ordee who have spent more money than you and waited longer than you. And then there is LHB who has devoted a heap of his own personal time and money into developing everything.
As many others have already said… If you aren’t happy, get a refund/sell your order and move on. Don’t waste everyone else’s time, money and patience because of your own frustration.
Interested in this as well, i did see some carvon drive like stuff. But haven’t really seen anything that we can buy very soon. Or I must’ve missed it.
@Friskies you don’t know what you’re talking about. The thing you suggest that I do, I have already been prevented from doing by Jerry himself. I’ve tried all that. Please read next time. Jerry has decided this is what he wants. I did not decide this. Your response should be directed towards him and not me. He has caused this and you should respect his decision that he has chosen to have legal issues during the production process. It’d take him a few seconds and no money to avert this, but he doesn’t want that, and you need to respect the way he wants to run his business.
Interesting, I can’t wait to see what they come up with. I’m new here but from the reading I’ve done over the past little while torqueboards seem to have quite a good rep around here.
He’s all talk. He doesn’t want to sell his motors to @caustin, he prefers to bitch and moan and issue empty threats. It helps him feel like it’ll make Jerry get his order to him faster.
I imagine that if he does sell his motors, and they ship out next week, that he’ll have an even larger fit. Who will he sue then? Might have to settle for crossing his arms, and stomping his feet.

I don’t want to ever deal with him again and I wouldn’t mind if his business went bankrupt either. Also I already did start process against him. So maybe turn your brain on, read, and think before you spout ridiculous nonsense about stuff that doesn’t even involve you.
