Freefly Robotics new universal motor controller, ARC200. Thoughts?

Anything you want to throw a ton of amps at the Arc 200 is good for. I rally cant say anything bad about them, they have been rock solid and so much muscle.

I’d just like to report back that @Jayx finally burned up an ARC200 and we sent it back to them for diagnostics. There was a short somewhere in it. The ESC died while riding, and while trying to reset it by unplugging and plugging it back in the XT90 asploded.

the other ARC200 is still fine. We’re probably going to make a single drive out of it to further beat it senseless.

So far these units have been both difficult to set up and absolutely dreamy to ride. And they took a LOT of abuse prior to the one failing. It had anywhere from 20 to 60 miles put on it per day and we’ve had them a good minute now.

And the maiden run

I agree they are beastly little things! I have even run mine on my milling machine to mill aluminium and it has handled superbly!
