Evolve Skateboards Voucher

Hey there everyone! Just looking for a bit of buying advice.

I’ve been saving up the spare cash for my first build a while now, and recently as my birthday has passed I’ve been given a voucher for Evolve skateboards. Looking through their website and around the place, there isn’t too much to cater to a custom build.

Is there anything worth buying?

Should I attempt to get a refund for the voucher?

Or should I just give up on building myself and buy one of their pre-made boards?

It’s almost 400$ worth of vouchers so not an insignificant amount, I’m damn thankful for it, but I’d love to make a board myself.

Thanks for any advice you guys can give.

yes you should try to get a refund

Try and get a refund, if they are cool with it then perhaps grab a set of wheels from them and then you can get the rest debited to your card. If you can’t get a refund (as it was purchased by another person), it might be an opportunity to buy one of their boards on finance, if you don’t want to commit to the full purchase price. If you like it, enjoy the board and consider building a board down the line. If you don’t like it, you can of course get a refund.
