I bought the swappable PU dual hubs and I’m very with the performance for my daily commute board. Thanks Jason!

will it fit in the 10s5p case or will it need a separate case

Bent trucks after 24 miles. Perhaps I can salvage the motor mounts if I can get them off. The fact that you can’t adjust the belt tension on thees make it almost not worth trying to separate them from the trucks. Loaded with a pack I way about 160lbs. After riding for 24 miles or so I already have a bent rear axle and am now to paranoid to ride any further. After pulling the motor mount grub screws out there appears to be no movement what so ever between the motor mount and the truck. The rest of this kit seems to be working alright, I.E. the electrical systems. Thank goodness I have been working on a Torque Boards LiPo project that should be more robust mechanically. http://www.diyeboard.com/10s5p-360wh-battery-esc-dual-motor-belt-drive-power-truck-kit-p-590.html

Why is it cheaper to buy the 105p battery separate from the v2.1 esc

The motor mounts are not going to come off of thees trucks easily. It looks like a torch and a hammer is what it will take.

Just get some caliber v2 and some mounts

Looks good! Do you mind sharing what exact parts you used?

And also, what thread size are you using on the picture, it looks very small.

@sanderfu , RE: DIYEboard belt tensioner:

The drill on the picture is indeed a small one. It was while drilling a “guide”. After that I drilled and cut for Ø5 (5mm, for M5 bolts). See this link for bearings measurements https://www.kugellager-express.de/stainless-steel-miniature-deep-groove-ball-bearing-ss-605-zz-5x14x5-mm

I started out with 605zz bearings (Ø5 bore, Ø14 outer), and after ~400 km I changed for 605zz (Ø5 bore, Ø16 outer). Not because of belt wear, but because of wear on pulley ! (and I ordered new pulleys).

Thank you so much for clearing that up haha, I’m used to electronics and all of that but the mechanical aspect is new to me.

I guess you also used som spacers or standoffs under the bolt inbetween the bolt and the bearing. How are the new bearings with the increased OD holding up? Ând just out of curiosity, what exactly happened to the pulley?

@diyeboard I cannot find these wheels on your site, are you selling them? image http://www.electric-skateboard.builders/t/diyeboard-com-china-factory-direct-retail-electric-skateboard-diy-kits-and-parts/32666/654?u=akelly

If its the wheels your looking for you can get them on teamgee.com also the same motors but cheaper (30 dollars each motor)

Thank you! Any reviews? What trucks do they fit? I also just found the diyeboard product pages linked from a Teamgee discussion, $118 for the two hub motors + one truck, $138 including the front wheels and truck, which you’re right is significantly more than Teamgee.

They fit most of the standard chnese hub trucks you can get them cheap on meepo or websites like that or ask if teamgee can include it.

And great motors, they are the same used on most Winboard boards, used on the teamgee boards.

I have a Teamgee H6 in house atm, great power from the motors.

Hmm, apparently they were used on the Backfire boards and the early ones had vibration issues because the treads came loose on the wheels.

They are not used on the Backfire

These are Winboard motors, they are used on Winboard boards they were also used on the Predator Banchee and on most Huboard boards, i have no vibration on my motors at all they work really well and you can even buy 90mm sleeves for them.

Got both so you can see the difference, also the vibration issue is not from the motors but the wheels used on them.

I got my own wheels made instead of the stock ones and no vibration on my Backfire

Interesting, thanks Lumaci! I wonder how the power compares to the generic 90mm hub motors diyeboard sells. And where did you get the 90mm wheels?

Not exactly sure where to get the 90s atm, i was talking with someone from Winboard recently and was told they were testing them at that point.
