Cumulus Nimbus 4wd 12s8p evo street build

Okay I can def fit a 12s8p with 4wd np, If the enclosure and the deck were the Same width front to back I could have made a 10p but the back end of the deck is too narrow.

Nice Iā€™m finishing the battery soon after that itā€™s smooth sailing should just come together. I had to use a difference battery config cause I needed the extra space for 4 Focbox

Lol itā€™s in the title of the thread this has been planned for months.

I want 4wd cause Iā€™m big and heavy and Iā€™m a speed junkie.

Should be able to get 50mph+ on this set up.

Havenā€™t posted in a while, but I have made some progress, I have completed the battery, I was pinning the wires for the BMS and I ran out of pins so Iā€™m stuck here for now.

Was test fitting the battery and it looks great but itā€™s going to be very tight for a 4wd set up 20181104_205733

I do have some verticle room in the enclosure because itā€™s a double stack enclosure so I need to think of some ways to mount everything else in there safely.

Just finished putter her together and took her for a short ride.and holy crap I didnā€™t expect torque to be this intense with this gearing ratio but the 4wd doesnā€™t even sweat it.

Im waiting for my Mini sparky thatā€™s why Iā€™m using a loopkey for now and my touch screen from @Wajdi

Thank you, this build has been in my head prepping every detail for months. I didnā€™t expect it to be this nice haha.

Btw 4 motors screaming all around you as you fly by is quite the experience you donā€™t get on normal builds.

I bet. I guess it saves on the times youā€™re screaming ā€œOutta my way mortalsā€

12 Is this what you got on the calculator???

I got 49mph on the calculator. I was thinking cause the extra 2 motors I could possible break 50

Just read this entire thread start to finish. What a machine you have built there. (Insert multiple praise words here, then repeat)!

Love the attention to detail, and the shear power that thing develops. Iā€™m on my second build now, with similar wheels - not SS but definitely 6" and same tires. Considering the same deck as it happens so interested to know where that enclosure is from, and do they do a single stack, lower profile, version for a 10s5p flat pack?

50mph is too fast for me, but I love seeing builds from people pushing the limits. Well done, itā€™s an awesome board :+1:

Edit: found it on eboosted ! Might get one!

The enclosure is made by @Eboosted he originally only sold the single stack version. I asked him yo make me.a double stack and this is it.

You can find it here. https://www.eboardsperu.com

@Deckoz fit a 13s5p in his flat pack enclosure.

Thank you for all the praise. Now Iā€™ll be taking it to the group ride Tuesday letā€™s see how it handles.
