All new 2019 VESC-Tool release

Hi everyone, Iā€™m trying to download the vesc tool from the vesc project website, but I think the website is down or has been removed. Do you know where I can download the vesc tool? Thanks.

My vesc have the latest firmware version. I wanted to do the App Setup Setup Witzard used CAN BUS. But it does not work correctly. VESC Tool 1.13 MAC image image

Can you try going to this website https://vesc-project.com/vesc_tool on any browser. Does the site work for you? Thanks.

Seems to be down, I got time out

Same. Iā€™ve been trying for about 3 days. Anyone have the download file? Could you send it through email or google drive? Email is [email protected]

Thanks.

The server is in Benjamins house and I guess he is away to Paris on esk8 meet up. I guess we will have to wait a little bit before he comes back :grimacing:

That sucks. Shouldā€™ve kept it on. The other thing is all the vesc distributors donā€™t have a direct download link. :disappointed_relieved::cry:

The Paris event was July 11th to 14th. So it should be up and running within a few days.

I messaged Ben about the Server. Hopefully its up and running very soon. Vesc-Tool mobile is available on the google play store.

Oh Lordā€¦

The source code is on github, I believe. Try compiling a new copy of it.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Re-connect, make sure both VESCs have the same FW. Make sure to connect to VESC having PPM and/or NRF attached. It should work straight away.

I was able to compile it and tried programming my new Trampa built board. However, one of my VESCs doesnā€™t connect to the computer. It flashes blue very fast, and the wheel wonā€™t spin when I use the remote. Any ideas? It should be ā€œstockā€ as I havenā€™t programmed the board (even ridden it) yet.

Try downloading the vesc driver. Go to device manager and see if there is a com port serial driver. That might be the problem.

Try to be more specific. Do you use USB connection, which model VESC, or is it a clone? Does the other unit connect without issues? Did you try another cable. Some USB cables are charge only cables.

Thanks for the reply. Iā€™m using a USB connection and it connects fine to the other VESC. Itā€™s the VESC 6 and I ordered the whole board pre built about a week ago (order 16415). When I plugged in my batteries only one wheel spun up but I verified that both VESCs have power with my volt meter. I then tried using the USB but it wasnā€™t working with the one VESC. Just flashing blue rapidly. Was there anything else that needed to be done out of the box?

Thanks, Tim

ā€œ Just get yourself a filthy cheap small android based phone and glue it to the tip of the board. Thats a cheap odometer with built in configuration panelā€¦ā€

:rofl::rofl: I just did this except I made it a gauntlet.
