Fair enough
It wouldnt be as simple as resizing the files as a whole would it? Iāve never really done 3d modeling, however my pc has maya
Resizing wont work, as you will mess up the other dimensionsā¦
Ahhā¦ welp I guess itās time to learn Maya again
Never heard about maya, but if you are starting from scratch i would highly recommend Fusion 360. Also if you can get your hands on the STEP files of the hubs, editing them to fit 8x2" should be very doable.
no step files - I work with Inventor. Maybe one of the updated versions shown in this thread has step.
What type of files can you generate from inventor? Step was just an example, fusion can take and convert many different
you CAN generate many - even step. Just wanted to say that I am not going to do it and if you guys need step then have to find them somewhere else. (Reason is not me being a dick but me currently not having access to inventor)
Where did you get the tires from? (maybe you have a link)
Itās Autodesk Mayaā¦ I learned it in hsā¦ but I never made anything complexā¦ I started to make yugioh monsters for a hologram project I was working on but gave up
@Maxid what size diameter is this rim, as is? I would check but I am not currently home to throw the file in my pc
Decided wthā¦ ima try it with these rubbers since I can buy them locally off the shelf 6x2 for 13$ ea
PETG, Feels really strong, I like it
5" pneumatics could also work pretty well on caliber II trucks without to much wheel bite, anyone tried to use one on them yet?
Found some 5" x 1" wheels and may try to design myself a hub for my board with caliber II`s (I really need to fix my printer asap)
I posted about the wheels in this thread for anyone who`s interested
Hey any1 know why my printer would do this?
Idk much about 3d printing yet XD
The same piece on the same spot did thisā¦ itās 2 separate prints with 4 pieces per print
Thanks Iām gonna try to print with a brim and glueā¦ I already have a heated bed and itās level
Anyone happen to have cad files for 6in pneumatics to be machined in POM or aluminum. Iād design my own but figured Iād ask first.
Could you not convert the stl file? These rims are actually really niceā¦ Iād love a metal set, and actually thought about going our back and sand casting some or asking the guys at the makerspace if we can mill them
