OllinBoardCo OM5065-200kv Sensored Motor

I’ve been scratching my head trying to figure out how to dual mount these motors. So far only mounts I’ve seen that will work are @torqueboards v3 mount and enertion’s mount. However with Caliber II trucks, they can’t be mounted side by side which leaves a front-of-axle and back-of-axle setup if you want both motors in the rear axle. However, Enertion’s mount won’t work for this since you can’t change the angle of the motor mount which will leave the motor and mount resting on the floor when you mount it behind the axle.

Guess I might have to pick up the v3 mount though I much prefer the v4 or Enertion’s aesthetically :frowning:

This is @claudiofiore88 dual rear wack-a-doodle setup for rear… Kinda YING YANG thing going on http://www.electric-skateboard.builders/t/no-words-just-pictures-delete-words-use-pm/2992/61?u=michaelinvegas

I think Dexter might have some 12s esc’s that can handle sensors.

@Jinra looks like I need to come up with a dual rear solution!

On the plus side Dexter from torqueboards said he’s working on an 50mm adapter or his v4 that should be ready in a month

I think this motor needs a group buy. @chaka do you know if we could get the price down a bit if we order 20 or more?

The motors are already in production @lox

Offering 10% off to early adopters till 6/1/16

Could we get the price down even more if we organise a big group buy? They can come to your shop and then you ship them out to us.

It’s like going around @chaka when it was him that introduced this to us…it’s was $69 all in for me … The cost won’t kill us to help support a vendor/maker of e-board components… This just doesn’t seem right to ask at this moment

We would still buy through him and he makes profit. But if we could get the price down more from the manufacturer and he still makes the profit he wants.

I’m gonna assume at this moment he’s contractually obligated till he passes a certain number…and only then may new negotiations may begin…I could be crazy edit: or talking out of my ass

… I’m down for a deal…but not at the expense pissing off an e-board source (one of the very few) to save a couple of bucks over the short term and not into telling him how to do business or change how he operates to satisfy a personal need to have a better deal than anyone

Edit: tell me this is still not a value at $70 considering its specs… NTM 50/60 for $50 bucks? Is the extra $20 worth it? I guess it’s a matter of perception

I already feel like this is a great price for a great looking motor, especially with the extra 10% off. I almost wish it wasn’t such a good price, cause now I feel compelled to buy one with money I don’t have.

@Michaelinvegas, I work with China factories almost everyday and you are right. There are magic numbers where the price breaks are- they are usually pretty big numbers for a substantial price decrease. Either way, I’m in for a couple.

Sorry about the messy website guys! This will be changed shortly!

I’ll also be building a new website as well.

v3 will fit the 50mm motors. However, these motors are 5065 with actual length being 70mm.

These won’t fit on dual rear. You will have to ride a single and/or a dual diagonal setup.

The v4 motor mount to be only two pieces. There needs to be a separate motor mount plate for 50mm and 63mm.

I switched over to 6355 so it’s more convenient to ride a dual rear setup. The 63mm diameter motor can also take more heat than a 50mm.

Evolve is able to use these motors on a dual rear with no issue since they have a much longer truck.

Sweet front lights dude!

Not lights…

Those are laser cannons to blast little children out of the way… Easier to put on than a cow catcher
