How do these exactly work if I already use canbus in my dual build.
just plug it in to 1 vesc. when you program it’ll program both. i have 1 left if you want it.
So I wire it like this?
no, just plug it normally into the master vesc.
In canbus?
into the UART port.
the settings will be applied to both if using canbus. if not, you’ll need 2 modules.

Does not matter will work with 6 and 7
5 or 7 are the only real options. 6 is asymmetrical

Can you connect this pins with a 5 pin connector? It looks to me like its only doable with 6 or 7.
the red wire on that can be moved up 1 pin on the UART port. those bottom 2 pins (on UART) are 3.3v and 5v. modules can run on either.
