I would need one in Europe, sorry. If somebody is purchasing a 12s bms from Europe, write me a message, we can order together!
You going for a bypass BMS? I need a 12S bypass BMS in UK
10s charg only intress in eu.
sent it out today!
I picked up a 12s charge only thank you!
excellent, itāll be in the mail tomorrow.
Can someone help me where do the balance wires go
Obviously depending on how you wire itā¦
Thanks so much I was confused because itās usually 13 wires thanks so much
Zero is the one he didnāt mark, thatās the 13th one. But you should ALWAYS verify the voltage with a multimeter before making the balance connection.
This BMS has 12 wires for 12 cells.
But there is no 13 wire
The 13th wire is probably the big āB-ā wire
Yeah, exactly. Of course it is āthereā just that is how this one is labled. Just to not confuse things. This is where the 12 balance wires go for this BMS, B- goes to, well, B-.
Some BMS have B0 through B12 for 13 balance wires, but the bottom one is electrically the same as B-. In fact, if youāre using them for charge-only and they have 13 wires, itās likely you donāt even need to hook up B- on those BMSs
got some more 10s and 12s modules in, in case anyone needs them.
bkb has them too.
For posterity; (since a Google search of ād140 getting hotā sent me here)
D140, with balanced cells, within 0.01 (highest 4.09,lowest 4.08). Set up according to the image in this thread. Charge only.
Bought from https://www.litechpower.com/product-detail/HCX-D140LI12S15A_05.html When connected it get wildly hot. Over 100c at the resistors. Unsure why, seeing that I canāt set it up my self. It seems it wants to balance to 0.00 differenceā¦? Website above says 0.025? And operating levels at 0-85c.
This is FWIW.
I have now dropped Bestech (litechpower) in favour of Daly BMSs.
Iāve had the same thing happen with a Bestechā¦ all balancers on full-time for no reason, after initially working correctly.
Also Iāve had issues where the charge cutoff was lower than the balancer setpointā¦ for example, the charge port shuts off if any P-group goes above 4.16V, but the balancers kick on if any P-group goes above 4.17V ā¦ the end result is that your pack never balancesā¦ everā¦
Bestech quality lately has been going downhill, a lot, in my experiences.
