Unfortunately, no.
Yes they get super hot. Hot enough to burn your skin
makes me wonder about the bmsâs longevity ⌠also I donât like if things inside my enclosure get hot I think from here on out Iâll always use charge only BMS and keep it seperate with 12pin charging connector.
I have heard too much about heat having a negative effect on battery charge cycles.
iâll test this d140 module and see how hot they get.
I havenât tried out my D205V1 yet so i have no idea how hot they get.
You have a link for this guy?
Havenât received it yet so I can not attest to the quality but will let you know as soon as it arrives.
my d140 doesnt get hot at all
When are you expecting the D140-12S back in stock?
sorry no plans for another order any time soon, i only get them as theyâre needed, not really running a business selling these.
So the 12s d140 BMS. Will the boosted charger which is 54.4v work or do you need 50.4?
Edit: I believe the answer is no. I used the search thingy with different words this time.
you could but shouldnât.
BMS will cut power but power supply will keeep supplying current since itâs set to 54v. bms would bleed off current in form of heat through resistors so wouldnât be safe long term.
Is it normal for the bms to get really really hot while charging
Not really hot. Slightly warm just before the end of charging.
Mine gets hot to the touch
It charges and all but it gets really hot and all voltages are right and in order
Is this still open?
I want 5 of them
