I am pretty sensible to people taking jabs ( small ones or hard ones) at someone doing great thing. The man can’t get back to you right away regardless if you paid or not. He is in the early stage of developing something for the community that really need and he is making it a reality. This is not attacking you but talking straight up.

Has anyone received the remote with the antenna and got it working correctly. Could you post pictures of all vesc setting because mine disconnects after 5 seconds and won’t rebind now. Any help is appreciated
Just to clarify, if your running dual motors, you only need one receiver, just have the vesc connected, right? I don’t need a receiver for each vesc do I? I was just looking at buying one and one of the things it said was ‘supports up to four receivers’ so I didn’t know if that was for a 4WD build, 1 receiver for each vesc…?
one receiver, two or more esc’s over canbus. multiple receivers for multiple boards…

Hi Deckoz - wondering if you have upgraded your firmware yet?
I have but cant get the remote to communicate with vesc . I am running 4.12HW and 3.100 FW which I think is the same as you.
Could you please PM me your motor and app files or give any pointers on critical settings in 3.100 FW to get the remote to communicate with vesc.

I have it running on the old firmware. Will update the remote tonight and let you know.
It was tested on VESC FW 2.18, 2.54, and should work on all versions from 2.18 up to 3.32. You can use an earlier version than 3.33 on the VESC. Make sure that the baud rate is set to 115200.
I also have several of the remotes assembled for people that pre-ordered, and I’m just waiting for an NRF batch from China, that I ordered a month ago, to be shipped to me to send them out. I hate when this happens, sometimes I get my packages in 1-2weeks, sometimes it just get lost causing unnecessary delays…

Mate could you answer the PM I sent you ? I dunno what to do with the remote. I recieved it 1 month ago and could use it 1 time. After spending 10 days to find a way to bind the thing, i finally made it. After a single use the connection of the remote was lost. Since then IMPOSSIBLE to bind the reciever with remote and I am sure i done everything right.
I would like to add too that i’ve been waiting and been very patient overall, I recieved a remote ( month late ) without Jumper, no Cables for connection between VESC and Reciever , no charger + i had to pay 70 euros of VAT - when jerry sent me the 600 euros carvon V3 i had not to pay a single penny in VAT- ( 200 euros for a remote i still can’t use after a month understand that i’m salty ). I have not complained of anything of this to you and systematically accepted the circumstance wether it was the longs delays, or missing stuff in the package. I am just asking for one thing, a decent customer service with fast answers. Other’s can do it so you can as well.
And seeing you been around on the forum and not answering my inquirie makes me mad. Customers problems should be solved, especially when they are among the first that pre-ordered. I’am sending this message after spending again couple hours trying everything to bind the remote, did everything like on your guide. Jumped the PCB as it should be and did everything meticulously, I get the orange light but it will never bind. I loved this remote from the first sight, it’s very practical since the only thing I can do with it is look at it

I don’t know if Im missing something or what, but I never received notification of your PMs. I usually respond within 24 hours. Any one had this happen before? I iterally had to go though all previous messages to see yours, and the forum never sent me notification. It didn’t even receive an email notification.

I haven’t received my remote yet, but for what it’s worth, @Wajdi has always responded to my emails within a day or two

FW 0.21 released with the following changes:
- Reduced power consumption when in sleep mode.
- Fixed a bug related to binding issues
- Fixed instances of “on awake” boot up freezing.

The PM’s might get messy i guess. Checking them to solve this, snow has melted and remote needs to be tested on the field !
