Top wheels for E-boarding

Yea 90’s seem to be ideal for what I want, but I like the contact patch of the 83mm evolves too much to give them up.

Yeah these things would look dope AF on a Raptor!! Totally ordering these if the (new) Raptor pulley fits perfectly… https://evolveskateboardsusa.com/products/evolve-gt-street-wheels-black-83mm-76a

I ride 80a kegels and think that they could be much smoother, but i think i´m the only one with that opinion because i´m too spoiled of my 77a Cult Traction Beams <3 which i used before i turned my board into an esk8.

Yea seems awesome… Sadly I can’t find any European seller for one of those

Seriously not even on ebay? I went on the UK ebay site an quickly found this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Green-Longboard-Flywheels-83mm-x-52mm-Multiple-Color-ABEC-7-Bearing-Spacer-/281745438943?hash=item41995638df:g:h7sAAOSwLVZVnxUJ

Btw: I have have already purchased two sets of these clones. I like them a lot!

looked there too, sadly those are even more expensive than the real deal thanks to the delivery fess and import duties.

@elkick offers these blankwheels in his Germany based shop but they are currently out of stock and shipping is € 8,50 extra but still cheaper than flywheels though. Maybe he can tell you, if they will be restocked soon.

97 mm vs 90mm, both 78a durometer… which ones would you guy’s advise me to get ?

about same priced as the bigfoot cored ones

it does.

For an e-board my advise is: Take the biggest wheels you can fit to your deck without wheelbite!

and get me some white 90mm blank wheels and send them to me in the EU :hugging:

happy with my 83mm 75a ABEC’s, these wheels run over everything and are smooth to ride, might buy 90’s next just for the added speed though

Love my blank white ABEC’s!

I’m interested in the blanks too but I’m worried the duro is too high. Seems hard to find clones in a software duro.

agree with @Nordle - bigger is better. The only downside is weight. Those 97’s are heavy suckers… I have a set of the 107mm electric flywheels i’m trying to see if i can squeeze onto my next build… they are massive and heavy!

but on 97’s rolling over cracks, bumps, small children, potholes, etc… so nice and smooth!

gear down! bigger wheels will give you more top speed and less low-end torque. So gear down on your motor 13/14t and largest pulley you can find for your wheel (i’m going to try DIYes 40t offering).

GL!

The Evolve GT runs great with plenty of torque on 97mm’s and a 32T pulley. I’m not sure how they do it, but I’m willing to bet it isn’t good for the battery!
