Do you mean to tell me that through your awesome voluntary event organizing you still don’t have a fully fledged out and detailed itinerary?
Where the hell is my spreadsheet?
We only have 6 more months before the event.
Geeze.
I need to know where I am drinking at 12:45pm on June 14th right now or my head is going to explode.

So my wife, 3 kids, and I are road tripping to Co for 2 weeks or so with the highlight being the Thunder in the Mountains.
I am trying to figure out if we want to do.
a camper van and get a small lockable trailer to load up boards
A big camper and tow the Subie Outback out there too.
Rent a truck and a pull behind camper
Any recommendations?

Should we start a different thread so people can coordinate with people who want to ride share, share hotels, etc?

I’d go with 2. Little bit more of a pain to drive but happier passengers.
Driving through Kansas suuuuuucks. Theres nothing out there lol. Go the southward route though. And bypass most major cities during the day. Traffic is insane the further from the south you get lol. Bring a vehicle regardless. With family you’ll want that option to get around.

Yeah. They are like $250 a day around about.
And a hotel is $150 a night or more. Which you don’t have to pay if you have a camper.

I am thinking something like this with a small tow behind for boards and tools would be dope (and a little more economical)
