Glass the bottom or better yet put a layer of CF on the bottom. Something with a tight twill.

That’s just road wear. It happens when you actually ride your board instead of letting it drive you around like a golf cart.

@mmaner The problem i don’t think is the deck cracking in half the problem is more that the bamboo layer splits is this what your referring to @mishrasubhransu or did you have one that cracked in half? Heres a pic of what happened to my first one 0329191212

The most likely cause of this issue is flex. With enough CF and Epoxy and the deck will not flex.

Do you think carbon fiber only under the enclosure area would do?

Sanyo 18650GA 3.5Ah 3.5Ah * 3.6V * 120cells = 1512Wh

I wanted to create an ESK8 that could run as long as possible at an average speed of 40km/h or more during the holidays.

No, a lot of it has to do with perimeter coverage. I mean, it might, but its hard to remove CF & Epoxy, so I would just do the entire deck. If you wanna try adding some rigidity without adding layers I’d suggest cutting a piece of 3/16 aluminum stock to the size of your enclosure, epoxy it to the deck, then screw it to the deck, screw down the middle and the sides. You can use inserts or coarse thread screws. Then cover it with a thin sheet of rubber or neoprene.

The bamboo one. Yeah, the bamboo strips don’t mind with each other well. Their regular maple boards are awesome.

I believe they made the mistake of using bamboo sheets which are too thick.

Really crap roads that are covered in gravel, big rocks and pot holes. Uneven footpaths and transitions. I don’t slow down I just try to monster truck over everything. I wish I could go up gutters not just down them.

Hey dude, I have an extra one of those trucks + 1 black raptor 2.0 motor just lying around. You think your friend would want it?

I’m pretty sure you’ve already posted this but how much does that thing weigh? I think you’ve got some of the sexiest light scene on the forum. Psychedelic!
