Also it’s fiberglass so I don’t think a heat gun would do too much

Lol. No. I literally found a odd ABS plastic at the office junk box that was this perfect shape. Dremeled it down to size, Heated it a bit and pulled out that taper. Found some old vinyl and taped it on ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Huh, I swear I’ve seen these things before. Maybe it was someone else @Eboosted maybe. I can’t remenber but these things are great for hiding phase leads
The Hellboy build had something similar (although magnetic, if i remember correctly) to hide all the cabling and provide access to the charger (i think)

You can use the pcbs for cell leval fusing

yea i still like the pcb just for structure, and it shields balance wires from the battery, and the copper layer on the pcb is nice to solder balance leads.

I am ok lol but my friends to who it belong to got road rash was able to running it for a few and not get hurt

That sucks dude. Glad it’s just road rash because it could’ve been worse. With all the QC issues and lack of testing prior to shipping to the customer, I don’t expect anything less than these types of things to happen. What’s unfortunate is that failure on an eboard can be life or death. I don’t trust Enertion’s Raptor anymore because of all the issues I’ve had. The worst being the time when the motors instantly locked up at 30mph. I’m just waiting to snap an axle soon too. Shitty deal dude.
