[Text Responses] No words…just pictures delete words!

Phase wires and Sensor cable (without need to remove the JST Plug). Can trim the extension to suit so it meets up with enclosure.

This is a revised version of what I’ve have on my board all year. Works great and keeps everthing neat and tidy. Printed one for another member on here and it turned out the holes on his drop through deck were different to my top mount one, and I hadn’t made provision for that on the design. Today I went back to the project and made some changes and improvements.

Can we get files for printing or buy from you? This would look great on my build.

I would suggest splitting the “main section” from the “tunnel section” so you can print one in petg and one in TPU. My deck has a curve the tunnel would have to wrap around.

hahaha … about that long : https://www.electric-skateboard.builders/t/no-words-just-pictures-delete-words-use-pm/2992/4296  but normally, it should work in one or two tentatives.

I really like also, the brown & khaki version : with a wooden deck

I’m not a vendor, just a hobbyist  The files for any of the stuff I’ve doodled are up on Thingiverse. Just search Toughook Riser, or Enclosure and it’ll come up.

My deck also has a slight drop through and the ‘tunnel’ flexes easily because it’s only a couple of mm thick. I could easily do a seperate file for just the riser next week if you wanted ?

I don’t have any TPU (and my printer would prob hate it). I’ll give it a shot in petg and see how it works.

Maybe I can hit it with the hot air gun and flex it a bit more.

How much curve does your deck have? The tunnel flexes pretty good for me 8cbe26099661ca98e70cf741a858d439493e8455_1_666x500

Hummie deck. So about that much, with a little kink back to “flat” that should tuck into the psychotiller enclosure.

Not to be an ass but brown come on that was such a 70’s color when they had brown cars with brown interior.

Thats going to be good that. Love the wheel proportion.

Good effort! https://www.electric-skateboard.builders/t/no-words-just-pictures-delete-words-use-pm/2992/8371?u=skelstar @mishrasubhransu

Question if you don’t mind:

  • how thick are the walls? I was running 4mm with 0.4mm nozzle… but now printing with a 0.8mm nozzle which is miles stronger. Thoughts?

It’s a 2.5mm part. Printed vertically up. The parts are supposed to be glued together with epoxy in between.

In my next enclosure, I am going to print the parts very thin and then reinforce it with fiberglass sheets and epoxy.

I am also thinking of creating a thread where people can seend me a cad model of their deck or just enclosure dimensions and I should be able to churn them out pretty fast because the models are parametric.

@PatRocks this is sick! I have been wanting to try this for so damn long on a deck. It looks soo cool man.

I have seen some cool stuff too where you can pour paint/colored epoxy or whatever into the burned channel then sand it down. Gives a cool effect.

Great job!
