I have them and I love them

Nop. Esk8’s in the uk are not classed as a vehicle, London high-court had someone arrested for drunk driving on a esk8, but in the end they could only get him on reckless endangerment as they deemed the long-board to be legal and not classed as a vehicle.

Please do. I know there’s another post about it by @TinnieSinker. Would be welcome to see more around

image @Battosaii There is a gap between the cells. Be carefull with it, because the silicon can be compressed and it can put tension in your nickel strips. It should not cause any problems if the groups cannot be compressed.

Thank you, it will be fixed before welding. Building an 8p set up sure does take along time lol

@Tamor what are the wheels in this pic? https://www.electric-skateboard.builders/t/no-words-just-pictures-delete-words-use-pm/2992/7212

Reminds me of old hotrod rims.

I designed them and had them machined in 7075 T6 Al. Had Titanium studs made, and fitted them with Ti Nylocs too. I had to get a few sets made to keep the price down. I’ve got a few left if interested. Let me know if you would like more photos.

@Tamor, looks great. Was that pulley milled with one half of the hub? So it’s not changeable?
