Yeah, I am not so sure about the welds either
yea, welds look over cooked. two nickel layers? hoping some weld testing was done before going wild on the cells…
under insulated.
is there nothing separating the two halves?
tie down those balance leads.
scares me nothing but shrink is separating this:
@skunk But I used the shhhhh emoji…
Don’t get too stoked about it though, wont be an available product. Maybe a few units will be available but nothing big.
oh I have not seen that with my sleeping eyes. I hope those welds looks much better in real life then on picture. Those nice cells do not deserve these tortures.
About this it is okay, it is better to use fishpaper between it. But it is not a disaster if the cells can not move over each other.

https://www.electric-skateboard.builders/t/no-words-just-pictures-delete-words/2992/9534?u=directc What is this? Why do I see it on every pic, but find it in no shop?
@pixelsilva just figured out they exist I guess. I-braces have been around for a long time. These CF ones @moon had made are nice!
Yes, ask @moon. Carbon I-Things are his idea. Jump on the bandwagon my friend! They prevent chipping and craking of wooden deks when you overpressure bolt screwing on top mount instsllations, also because they look really nice.
For added beastlyness
That bearing supports the outrunner housing similar to the sk3 design.
@okp we neeeed those hubs https://www.electric-skateboard.builders/t/no-words-just-pictures-delete-words/2992/9531?u=andy87
