Those wheels…So sexy, so very very sexy.

It is a deep single, but you could surely fit 1.5 in there with a thick weather strip.

It won’t work when the charger is not within my home wifi (which will almost never be the case). The phone will still show the correct values even if it’s not within my home wifi as long as it has internet connection.

Yeah you would have to hardcode any possible wifi network within the esp8266 or that it creates a hotspot every time it boots up so you can select to which wifi network it should connect…

But you know way more than I do so… Thank you again (for your help)

Right, but this won’t go into the board enclosure. This will be a part of an external BMS charger. The primary responsibility of the esp8266 is to show data on the TFT display. The Blynk part is just a bonus (it has wifi so I must use it!) . I wouldn’t bother with it if it wasn’t so easy to setup with Blynk. It’s still nice that I get a notification on the phone once the battery is charged… even if outside of home (not that I really plan to ever charge my battery unattended) or I can check how the charging is going without getting up from my sofa (cuz that’s important ) .

Now you only need to build a robot arm which can disconnect the charger automatically… :joy: Any plans on releasing the source code? I would really be interested how it works… Ok sorry…

Maybe we should make a DIY Inboard battery mount and just use their $99 batteries LoLz

The current state of the code is a bit of a mess, but if you’d like to take a look, here it is: https://gist.github.com/janpom/9bd20d4c0887847d628b18a05e2fd7eb

Not a bad price for certain kind of rides.

I’m wondering what board they are working on. I think a larger battery cutout with the same plug would be awesome. Backwards compatible with the 97wh battery from M1 for travel and larger battery for those that don’t travel

That will be my v2. I should still be able to control the charge circuit MOSFET remotely, which is close enough.
