Nah but foreal I would’ve put the dude down the second I saw he broke my board He would have been laying in the street waiting for trash pickup.

Oh he left scuffed up, but only 5% because of the board, 95% his reaction.

What are your overall thoughts on the bindings? Are they comfortable? How tall are you? How far apart are your feet?

Im so so conficted between these: image

or the Freeboard S2s:image

They’re comfortable enough, my feet do start to fatigue after several miles and jumps. Those MBS look like the face some decent padding, but they won’t be as easy to get out of if you need to bail. I’ve had to bail a few times and my feet slip right out.

Best thing about having bindings to me is the added stability they seem to bring. As I said in an earlier post, going 27mph is really stable and then being able to turn on a dime, I haven’t ridden another board that can do that so well.

I’m 5’10" I do have longer than average legs, but having the brackets secured with the outside truck bolts seems to work great on the spud.

They are 5x1,5 inch and 85PSI. Want to see is there an interest. I don’t have experience with pneumatics and there are mixed opinions about such a small tire.

@LukePL, me too. Been looking for 5x2 tires and tubes for years. Good find. I’ve used 5x1, they are not good. 5x1.5 might be good.

Yeah me too unfortunately the are not 2 inch but 1,5. They should fit sixshooters, those dirt cheap hubs and Bergmaisters and Janux? (if I’m correct). I think they would be great with direct drive also

I’d love to give them a try, you have a link?

Those look great. Been wanting something low profile like that.

I’d just kill him quick if he broke the board and was apologetic

If he wasn’t tho, I’m going full Jack the Ripper on him I’ve got a stash of a few karambits and bayonets (Cuz I’m a csgo nerd) (pm me if you wanna play I’m mg1)

@LukePL they indeed look nice. I only found 5" x 1" tyres. https://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=a230r.1.14.213.70b23781S6FhJG&id=572976640453&ns=1&abbucket=13#detail https://www.aliexpress.com/item/5-Inch-Pneumatic-Wheel-Gocart-Caster-5x1-tyre-Wheel-Using-Metal-Hub-5X1-Pneumatic-Tire-With/32840489238.html (also on Amazon https://www.amazon.com/Inflation-Pneumatic-Electric-Vehicle-Gocart/dp/B07438Y2TS)

What’s the point of a smaller tire? Less rolling resistance? Wheel bite? lower CG?

to me it’s just because they are smaller so less space. When you go around the whole day with the board size matter a lot. At least for me.

Correct. I’d prefer a small pneumatic 5" wheel on a street deck to ease over bumps and cracks but I need 8" on my eMTB. The range difference is certainly noticeable.

These kinda conceited and entitled people deserve their comeuppance. He got what was coming to him. You were just the instrument of karma.

No wheel bite?

Such a weird mentality. We are fine, but have had shot brewing for a while. Now.

That was the straw that broke the heavily weighed down camel’s back.

Also… @Chupacabra
