For the inside. The majority of my battery pack is smaller than the enclosure. 1/8 neoprene on top and bottom plus a small piece to cover the BMS and is quiet and snug.

Good looking little board. Deck? Battery?

Thanks :+1:

The deck is actually from IKEA can you believe!? lol It’s actually REALLY nice just as a manual board and the wheels and trucks you get with it are awesome too! It’s only £60 complete. The enclosure is a mepal sandwich/lunch box The ESC is a Wowgo 2s ESC running a single hub motor. The battery is my own… left over Sony VT6 cells in a 10s1p configuration to give around 5-6 miles of range.

Did it come disassembled in 50 pieces with no instructions? Lol

What hub motor you rocking?

I can’t actually find the exact thing I bought now, but it was a cheap “fish plate” electric skateboard from AliExpress.

It’s basically just this but a single hub, and it was a full skateboard costing £102 all-in.

I caved and got these earlier than I planned. Working on the mounts and stuff, I realized I just need to get it now. I’m excited and it seems silly that I am about damn allen wrenches. lol

Having the right tools makes a huge difference

Yea, I agree. Instead of struggling for an hour on something, have the right tool and take 5 minutes instead. It’s a lesson that I constantly am being taught again and again. It’s just that I bought a lot of tools in the past 2 months and I was just trying to delay buying more.
