TB motor mounts pulley covers (3D print?)

Lol impossible I know I can’t be the only one with TB mounts on TB 218s with TB 6374 and 107s… I just may be the few with metroboard pulleys… :stuck_out_tongue:

Does this work for reverse mounts as well?

Can’t think of a reason why it wouldn’t :wink:

@Deckoz

Would you torque down the same way with reverse mounts?

Yea. As your still riding the same direction…and strikes still hit the same way.

What size and length of screw is required to mount these covers?

Got two extra covers printed in ABS if anyone is interested.

Not really too sure, I just picked up a screw, sliced it with my pliers and it fit perfectly. But I have a strong feeling it’s an M3x12mm. 12mm because the motor mount is 8mm, and my cover has 3mm thick walls.

They are M3 :slight_smile:

What 3d-print should i go for? I use 83mm wheels and 6355 motors.

When i messure my board (axle) it seems like you would need to have depth of at least 30mm to clear the axle? Can anyone confirm before i send this for printing?

What covers are theese? Is it for 97mm wheels ?

Are you also using dual 6355 with 16/36? Im going to order via 3dhubs so they can print me some but i need to make sure it fits. Will use 83-90mm wheels.

Thanks

I’ve made a 97mm one already. https://drive.google.com/file/d/10ZZMmEYgLlcWC5r9L3Jps6iCXbLoMetA/view

Hey do you have a 100mm MBS wheels version? I’m using a reverse mount if that matters.

For the sake of all the new guys on this thread: 80mm version: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ZiRxH3KYYcXZCr6X_Fso7PGENsO7u_Sv/view 90mm version with cutout for axle: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1OBMnb5ckWaz4wfStrX_jyAhAR3kY1RMc/view?usp=sharing 97mm version: https://drive.google.com/file/d/10ZZMmEYgLlcWC5r9L3Jps6iCXbLoMetA/view 97mm with axle cutout https://drive.google.com/file/d/1aPqTLobBrF_j28AZRsTp3ZoMyATJCNIQ/view?usp=sharing 100mm version: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1HXT51md_dX6Xtpq3SD82Wzm4CuZQY_zT/view @Deckoz 107mm deluxe with a cutout for axle https://drive.google.com/file/d/1qxxIaL4OOtAJLD6FlrMiwyoIBOfkMby8/view

No 90mm version :innocent::hugs:

I run the same setup with 80mm kegels. I used the 80mm version. The axle runs very close to the top of the cover so I had to dremel out a small channel.

If you’re using 3D hubs, I’d go the safe route and use the Deckoz deluxe with the cutout for the axle

Could you perhaps make a 90mm design like dekoz? Would like to have as much cover as possible… i need to remove stones 2-3 times on every ride without the cover. :confused:

No problem. I’ll get started when I get home
