TaoBao, AliExpress, Bangood, Alibaba...All the Chinese Deals Here! Community Log

I order from taobao all the time

Do you contact the seller directly and ask if he is willing to ship outside of China or do you use an agent?

you must can write chinese!

Directly to the seller. If I involve an agent I have to pay more.

not a easy way for that. because not each of them can write English, or having a paypal account, or willing to send things aboard

I know that how I do usually. If it doesn’t work then depends if I really need the product and it is work it charge the agent cost

I get someone to order for me, and I pay them via PayPal

Do you use like superbuy? Or you have friend there? Baci se I have Chinese friend and that can be an option too in case I need help

Me? Nope they aren’t an agent. They just work for a company where I get some parts made and they let me get some things from taobao

I usually have zero issues finding what I need though

Same for me. Usually I buy from the seller. Is not a complicate discussion

Got one testimonial!

thanks @Jasonkimberson

I see a bunch of US sellers still at around $50

Most sellers suspiciously are in Rowland Heights CA. One in dirty jersey though, with 99.9% feedback…

Hmm most of them say 29v max, some say 36v, some 42v. I seriously doubt they’re different though?

Hello here’s a small update on this motor for £40 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/223109809017?ul_ref=http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/710-53481-19255-0/1?ff3=2&toolid=10044&campid=5338268676&customid=d54760a4-8306-4e92-9331-d0e5b9013f1a&lgeo=1&vectorid=229508&item=223109809017&srcrot=710-53481-19255-0&rvr_id=1655881695986&rvr_ts=a59254331650ac198f448a33ffe6ab11&_mwBanner=1&_rdt=1&ul_noapp=true It arrived today and so far I’m pleased with the quality. @Benjamin899 I was happily surprised that it came with silicone wire, however, @pat.speed is correct and the wires feel quite thin at 12awg. It’s that acceptable? Or am I going to have to upgrade to a thicker wire?

Edit: I would like to add that I’m pairing it up with a flipsky 4.12 vesc I got for £40. (Its normally £45 but they accepted my offer) https://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/FLIPSKY-FSESC-V4-50A-SK8-ESC-W-5V-1-5A-BEC-For-Electric-Skateboard-RC-Car-Z9E0/283024783468?_mwBanner=1&_rdt=1ere’s

Heres a few pictures. Sorry in advance they’re not the best quality pictures. Bad phone with bad lighting. :upside_down_face:

12awg is perfect for me. maybe some crazy mountainboarder or people who want to push limits. but 12awg is totally solid. can you share some good pictures, i always find these on ebay and co totally useless to make an assessment

Nice price :sunglasses: I bet the wires are in best case 14AWG. Could you please measure the total length without shaft, is it a “real” 6374?

Just measured and happy to say it is a true 6374

Edit: Double checked again and its measures 71mm. But I’m still happy

these pictures are still way better, sadly i cant mount 2x74s but what a steal for motors with silicone.

no point in upgrading the wires unless you re-wind the motor. Those wires are the same ones that come straight out of the motor. Splicing 3 inches of 10awg on the ends of the motor windings isnt going to change much. That said, at the price, run the motor for a while and see if it burns up. Depending on your use case, I’ll bet the leads will be fine

Sadly I misread the label on the wire and its turn out to be 16 AWG wire. Just something people might want to know if your planning on buying this motor.

ah thats a bummer.
