RAPTOR 2 | Most Powerful Direct Drive Electric Skateboard | Kickstarter

One of those wheels looks backwards. I’m assuming the cross terrain bands go on the outside, so the thane on the wheel to the right needs to be flipped.

The tread is symmetrical. The fitment is asymmetrical. Can’t flip it.

Please be aware the price is about to go up again at end if month.

And the sk8porn begins…:flushed:

8 screws need to be removed. Then the lid comes off and battery can be removed.

Can someone direct me to the pack prices and does anyone know if there will be eu distribution so no extra tax will be added on arrival?

How much for the Crossover Kit?

Is it possible to substitute the fixed angle trucks for the adjustable angle trucks? If so, how much?

Good job on the final version of the deck.

Still working on the crossover kit. Target price is $90USD

It would be nice to offer this now and plan to ship it in the raptor 2 box… this way everyone gets free postage… in talks with our wheel factory.

I really don’t want to delay shipping though.

The boostpack is the only thing to think about. It’s still on sale for $59.

What about shipping and taxes to the UK/EU? And what are the reseller pack prices at now? A boost pack is great but not so good if you’ve not secured a raptor 2 yet!

Is it the same hub motors for the cross over kit? Any more details you can share?

So isn’t that going to give you different performance on a left turn versus a right turn? My thinking may be off on how weight distribution occurs during a turn- Assuming those trucks are driving to the right in the picture, a right turn will put you more on the outside edge of the right wheel and inside edge of the left…which are both the cross terrain bands. A left turn would put you on the 2 high efficiency bands…which would operate more like a standard wheel except for the very edge of the wheel. Or do the trucks tend to keep you completely balanced on both wheels?

Prices are on our website. Bulk prices too.

We can’t guarantee there won’t be extra fees tacked on by local european logistics companies. They seem have endless means of screwing people. We do intend on subsidising import duties.

The tread is symmetrical. It has 3 bands.

Cross terrain band | center band | cross terrain band.

The wheel on a skateboard truck doesn’t tilt, it is always at right angles to the ground, even when turning… The left wheel is on the Same axis as the right wheel so they are always sitting on the center band.

Same motor. Just swap the outer wheel.

I really wish we reached that stretch goal… that is a fucking amazing gadget!

No plans to sell it at the moment

Got it. I couldn’t see the 3 bands clearly in the picture and thought there were just 2.

Maybe this helps.

I agree that you definitely do not want to delay shipping the R2 because of the Crossover Kit. I really want those wheels however.

If it were to ship interdependently, how much might shipping to the USA be?

I had seen adjustable angle precision trucks a couple of years ago and have lusted for them ever since. The ones I saw were far more expensive than what I was willing to spend though.
