Battery question here, i charge my battery till the indicator reach 100%/42.2V, but when i unplag the charger, the indicator down to 98%/41.1V, when i leave it for a day the indicator down to about 94%. The pack has not been used to power anything, even its not connected to the esc. Is it normal or is there any problem with my pack or my indicator.

Itโ€™s normal. The battery / cells are balancing. Nothing to worry about

So my battery can push 450c continuously and Iโ€™ll be running dual focbox setup so each one should receive 225c. Will that fry my focboxs?

One other question, I was planning on using a bms that would restrict it to 80a discharge. Would that be a waste of battery potential? I was thinking so and was planning on bypassing them then I saw the stats above and was worried I would fry them with that much electricity.

What battery do you have? 80a is a shit load. Donโ€™t think you will need more

Five 2s 5000mah 90c wired in series.

So itโ€™s 90c then, not 450. It increses with parallel not series.

Ooohhh, really?

5pcs 2s 5000 mah 90c = 10s 5000 mah 90c when wired in series. 90c is plenty

I was going of thisโ€ฆ

Yes 300a not 300c

My bad, wrote it wrong. But wouldnโ€™t that still fry the focbox?

No you are good aslong as you setup your boxes correctly. I think default setting is max 130a.

So the 225a would be over the limit right?

No you are good, vesc will take care of it. As long as your settings is correct

I guess Iโ€™ve got to do my research on programming the vesc, thanks.

Just trying to make sure not to fry $300 of electronics lol.

So, how would you find the true discharge capacity?
