nice! what cells are those? and what holders? they donā€™t look like the squeeze packs @hummie is working on

They are just some cheap Sanyo cells I have and those are my own hardware compression packs. Iā€™m helping Hummie with his design and itā€™s gonna be lit.

I paid Hummie for the double channel one since thatā€™s all he got extras of. Might route out that center wood gotta be easier ripping out that than not effing up two sides right?

are you widening for the FS6 escs?

Only need 1mm sanded off to fit the FSESC 6.6

Iā€™m guessing with the single cutout, the flipsky 6.6 would fit just fine given the fit on the double cutout?

Looks pretty cool. Are you just using flat copper or you stamped it to raise(where it touches the battery) it a bit?

yes they are stamped/pressed just like the NESE except mine doesnā€™t need the foam backing

no the single cutout v2 is only 145mm wide, double cutout is 74mm each

if you have time i think you should hold on to it and wait for hummieā€™s squeeze pack to come out.

Oh wow! Did you DIY or got it from a place that specializes in that sort of a thing.

I was sick of seeing the NESE modules being so expensive for what they are, and shipping from EU is really not very worth for me when I can just design my own.

Glad I got one of eachā€¦ When do you think these will be ready for sale?

I was actually considering a nese module and yeah they are expensive :disappointed_relieved: can these be double stacked?

oh yeah I also hate how NESE is so big and such a waste of space. @skunk I need to figure out how to mass produce them and source hardware cheaper. and I can easily make a double stack version. this design is kinda still take sometime to assemble tho. Iā€™m working on v0.2 for some slight changes. more flexible between series and rigid.

If you need to do pre-orders for funds to get the ball rolling let me know.

could these possibly work without the double cutouts? I havenā€™t ordered the nese modules yet so Iā€™m undecided after seeing these lol

they are completely fine alone. it just so happened that I was at hummieā€™s place to use his arbor press and it fits super nicely into the duo cutout.

I too had planned on cutting the center brace out but Im only shooting for a 10s 4 with this deck. looks like that would easily fit with these modules and leave room for focbox. Canā€™t wait for a dedicated thread on these. Great work. Seems like just about anything with hummie involved is worth getting in on. Even if you gotta wait, you know it will be right.
