ill count up tonight and likely just send the bucks and get it going. go for the 30 decks. if anyone wants in SPEAK UP NOW and we can get you in. so yea I think tonight. I’m not sure how many people are in but I should have the bucks to cover the rest. I keep saying it but a big perk related to getting things to fit is the noses are thick and could easily be sanded to customize to fit whatever you want. add a bit of clearcoat and its as good as new with the stained wood layers and no paint anywhere.

not quite, cutout depth is 15mm. 18mm cells so they stick out just a bit. but this will allow for a super shallow enclosure.

Just one thing, that is quite tight width wise, would need to widen it a couple mm, unless you connect series above the cells If you give it an extra cm on each side you could do 5p

Interesting tidbit, it stands on the wheels, the nose or tail don’t touch the ground if you stand it up

but what about room for connections? the way it is now it just fits and without connectors. don’t want to change the design much but maybe next time 2cm wider and 2mm thicker to compensate. but seems a gamble and really like the feel of it as it is.
As-is connections would need to go over the top like with a PCB, it doesnt need to be deeper, just a bit wider, don’t think that would would have any measurable change to feel

neeeext time maybe. but that’s suck a freak way to wire the cells I like it just like ribs perpendicular. but then youre further along than me building it!
I’m off next week from work cause there is no work…so off for real and looking forward to making my minimalist enclosure: just 6 thin polycarbonate clear ribs going perpendicular velcroed on. no bottoming out allowed but will look cool and wont have to drill the deck.
and finally be riding again. its been so long

what you think of the flex? it has some for me at 155lbs, but not much and to me, maybe cause I’m biased, but it feels really nice. soaks the bumps but stable. ;trying to swoop a person or two more. or someone get another. didn’t send the bucks in yet…today.
