Does the Focbox work fine with the extended bldc tool and modified firmware?
Yes it does. Behaves just like a normal VESC
Installed and running great on focbox, running FOC on Yuneec E-Go2 motor. Android app is awesome. Props and thanks to the developer.

It seems like the only thing that is different in the schematic is the big diode and the FETS, right?

I dont, but I will try to get them from here. I have the layout, the basic connections and an open source license so I dont see why it couldnt be possible, a little of work required tho 
Obviusly it would still be nice if the source releases the schematics as the license invites them to share the files

Just received my FOC…Im using 3 wire twist throttle… So…can I still connect bluetooth etc…

I have just ordered 2 FOCBOX and plan to run them in FOC on my MTB build. I can mount them in the battery enclosure or near the motors. Which is better?? Longer battery cables or longer phase wires?

I have found the schematics for the width of the FOCBOX but cannot find the height. Anyone know?
