Why woud the longer ones be necessary? With 107s the most anyone seems to be running is a 44T wheel pulley which will clear the short mounts by a far amount
Maybe if you want use idlers with the 107s??
Just for peopleās information, with a 15T motor pulley, 36T wheel pulley and the long mount, Iāve used a 325mm belt. Iām currently switching up to some 6in pneumatics, and while Iām still waiting to test the belts Iām pretty sure they will need to be 365mm
Are using idlers with that setup? If not could they be used?
Iām not, but I totally could. I donāt have the bearing set, but do own some bolts and bearings that would be suitable. My build isnāt in a daily rideable state, so I havenāt had time to test whether I even need idlers yet
Iām using idlers on the short mounts with 11mm belts my slippage has stopped but maintenance has increased as they can get bit dirty/wet.
I may get remove them just hope thereās no slippage.
Thatās why I migrated to using 15mm across the board
Im using 295mm belts with the blue mounts with idlers from dicky, abec 107ās and torque board 218mm trucks and its all perfect.
How much you plan to charge for these?
the 6in pneumatics kit? without motors, I think will be (115-130us +shipping) X 1.1 ebay fee
I have it with 44T or 60T wheel pulley, 60T one more expensive.
and how much 4 wheels with 2 pulleys?
4 wheels with 2X44T pulleys 68us +shipping 4 wheels with 2X60T pulleys 78us +shipping
Good with the long
is that picture from 1995?
I think is 1992
@dickyho is there a drawing of the dimensions of the holes for the idlers with regard to each other? I have to print a mount for 2 encoders sitting in the middle (between the motors) and I want to hook them on 3 threaded rods I put through the idler holes, which also will keep my mounts from bending.
