NEED A FEW TESTERS WITH FOCBOX UNITY BUILDS - Low-speed Braking Fix Needs Testing

Firmware is only for Unity, There isn’t any updated one for regular FOCBOX

This fix has been pushed to the lattest unity fw. Just grab it from the git

I run 160a battery max and 320a motor max but I run a big battery and 4wd.

Going to test out the new firmware next ride  @CarlCollins @Deodand does the new FW update allow us to turn off 2 Unities with 1 button now?

@Battosaii I am not sure about it, haven’t tested it yet, may @Deodand will help you with this

Can’t wait to see the results

I love my Unities but that would make them complete.

I’m sure there is a fix already, not sure how reliable is though

But I’m not runing an Unity at the moment, just regular dual Focboxes

Ah sorry, misread you.

I don’t have a definitive answer to your question

What issues you are having with your dual FOCBOXes? Is it a Raptor?

@Battosaii Do share your results as well

If I’m running the breaking firmware that Jeff linked in the op can, I update to the latest FW though the unity UI app?

It will be best if you use USB-C cable and Windows version of FOCBOX UI Version 1.1 to update the firmware.

Firmware upgrade using Bluetooth will drop if connection is unstable

The issue stated in the thread header Low Speed Braking, it’s not a Raptor 2 BTW

Ben has a fix for this it should be somewhere on his git for the vesc

Haven’t you adjusted the braking using the tool or something?

Starting my first build these next few weeks or months…just bought my board today. I would love. The opportunity to test or try out anything you guys make! 20190225_223237

Tried this fix on an ebike. The hysteresis implemented in the latest official firmware didn’t really help much with the cogging but this fix nailed it!
