he mentioned at some point that 8cells per module is the max, because of structural integrity reasons.
That’s right. I wanted ten wide for a 5p battery, but I guess at length over 8 cells there is the potential for warping of the modules.
I had already reached out to him directly and was told the same unfortunately
Edit: and would also be ok with two 1s6p in one case to save the extra material that two separate 1s6p cases would have
Does anyone a a pic of the 2s2p module?
These are my 2s4p modules.
Hey I was just looking at some batteries on NKON and they have two types of the Samsung 30Q’s. One is the normal kind, and the other has a button top for the positive terminal. Are these made for the normal types like this:
https://ru.nkon.nl/rechargeable/18650-size/samsung-inr-18650-30q-3000mah.html
Or for the botton tops like these:

The button tops go for a full euro more than the regular ones also.
Both are 65mm in length, which should be total length, so I think it will work. It definitely works with the regular tops.
Meaning either of them would work?
Should, but lets wait for Agnius
the button top could be a problem, i wouldnt buy them for these modules.
Well that’s good, that’s an extra euro less per cell can get them for $3.39 now. Just hope shipping isn’t crazy…
The button top cells are same cells. They only have that nipple plate which could be removed. You will need to reshrink wrap the cell. If used with nese, garolite gasket could be placed instead and installed taking little extra care. https://www.lygte-info.dk/info/battery%20protection%20UK.html
How long does shipping usually take to the USA for just the hardware/tabs/screws etc.
Curious about this too, I ordered on July 4th. Curious of shipping time. I’m not in a huge hurry just want to know when to expect.
Integrated a 50A fuse and a connector for the Antispark-plug
Nice. You should have had caps on the fuse screws as well is that 10s4p?
Looks Like 3p.
Got mine today
