What brand of Vesc where your running? Seems that some brands are not able to run FOC while others are.

So far only done 10miles on them need to do more testing…blew my vesc should have it back next week…the 10 miles i done felt better than my 97mm abecs…
I’ve been temped to try it myself especially since my dual 6374’s are so noisy on bldc
If u flash with new frimware then set up foc should be ok …I wonder…
If i have 2 vesc here ill try again if it blows it blows… Im putting my Metroboard up for sale so i need my diy board up and running…ill lose my mind if i dont have a eboard here…

Thanks to Namasaki back up and running i blew my Vesc in foc mode it was my fault i think didnt reflash …any way hit 32mph yesterday 2 or 3 times

Hi I used car spray paint I didn’t strip the motor I used masking tape and cut…ill get the names of paint and primer I used…Would I do it again no I would use rap … .Spray is great if u have a work shop I don’t…ill post pics to night

Why wouldn’t you paint the motor again? I’m thinking of painting mine because wrapping a shape like a motor seems hard to get the seems perfect.
What kind of paint did you use? Seems to be bad quality because it’s coming off so much.
