How are you sure you won’t pull the xt 90 anti spark out of the metal?

I’m using this on my board: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2323422

If you use strong glue to glue the socket on your enclosure, and same for the XT90 connector in the socket, it works pretty well. I haven’t had any issue. And it looks quite clean. Gave it 2 coats of mat black spray paint to match the enclosure.

Fixed title to xt90s. i keep seeing people think xt90 and xt90s are the same thing.

Is this correct? Can Minus cause a problem because its longer compared to plus?photo_2019-02-10_17-57-08

Typically you interrupt the positive line using the xt90s loop key but it should be alright like that…

Is there a difference if Minus is the loop instead of Positive?

No, not really. It will work either way. It’s just a personal preference.

alright. The fact that Minus is a tad longer compared to plus is okay?

You mean the wire length? It doesn’t matter…

Perfect.

Now comes the moment i’m afraid of. Connecting the Battery to the VESC for the first time. I hope nothing blows up.
