Horrible Communication By AlexTech

I don’t think so becaise the new batches had blue eurothame that was a harder duromater, but I may be wrong.

Hmm, he said this were the new hub motors:

“have been making upgrades to the design to compete with the Raptor 2, what we are going to do is we are going to send you the new HUB motors straight from the Factory since they are geographically closer”

And this is sent from china.

how often do we have to post an easy fix for the slipping issue until people realize there never was an actual issue? I am riding my hubs since the beginning and never had my urethane slip. With minimal effort (duct tape and some rods) you can fix this in minutes (if it occurs at all). That whole problem got blown way out of proportion. If you take pictures with the urethane off I can tell you if they actually improved anything besides harder urethane (which will make your ride worse as the wheels are already letting through all the vibrations due to the thin urethane) - somehow I doubt it.

Yeah, but I was just wondering because he said he had fixed the urethane slipping  How do I remove the urethane tho?

@treenutter since you have contact with @Alextech can you ask him to give me the specs of the hubs, like max amp, max volt thanks

@sander can you pls update the google doc if your order is now complete/satisfactory? Thx!

I can send you jacobs manual - it is all in there. Give me a couple minutes

I have updated it for 5 mins ago, but should I remove it or what? I just added (Received) beside it etc.

@Sander if you no longer have an outstanding obligation from @Alextech, please remove the dollar value from the spreadsheet and note in the comments that the order arrived.

Umm the 12S4P battery? Removed the Hub Motor and let the 12S4P stay.

Thanks! It says nothing about the volt so I guess 12S battery should be no problem?

Shouldn’t be. I am supposed to receive a board w/ 12s4p battery and those hubs.

voltage is never an issue (in the limits we typically use - it will be if you go ridiculously high with 100s of Volt) but only current matters for our motors.

Ahh, I have always thought with more volt the current is more because, 100V * 40A = 4000Watt.

But why do they use like 1800 Watt motor marketing?

in principle yes - but to get the same power you need less current  Because 1800watts sounds better than 40A

They could’ve been done at the factory if u have any issues hit up @ralphy

Lol go big and black just say no to Tangy Orange.

Some people are fine with the factory urethane. If your light ride short distances at normal speeds in a city that’s below 100F.

But if your big heavy or you ride hard long distances in hot temps you need the shit I invented

Any updates?

Here’s an update for my situation:

I sent everything back to PayPal that was in the box, including the box taped up to get rid of the holes that were in it when delivered. Should be getting a refund in a few days

All, After some prodding/reminding @Alextech has called and emailed his business mentor (I’m cc’d in the communications) and we are awaiting a response so that the three of us can discuss the outstanding issues and identify a solution. I will keep you posted.
