Iām thinking that adding the g-bomb brackets to the deck will allow for the Haggy kit or other larger wheels to work with the deck. Each of those deep drop brackets are $120 tho. Does anyone know of cheaper alternatives?

This time we could maximize the chamfer using longer milling bits (looks stealthyer). This, plus bigger inner channels means that we dropped 400g of weight even with the added ply. 1,64kg (kitchen scaleā¦)
Sadly the new 1,5mm lid will add some weight when compared to the 1,2mm original one. 1,2 material is rather exotic an almost nowhere in stock.

An esk8fr friend makes some simulation and advises me to double the plate and I will be all good.
So, it will be a bit more, 6ā¬/side (2pcs) = 12ā¬ total :
